Staff Biographies
David Waters Managing Director
David initially trained with Royal insurance and moved into insurance broking in 1986 working for CE Heath and Jardines, before establishing PrimeCare in 1997, starting from his own home in Seaford and then moving the PrimeCare head office to purpose built offices in Brighton in 2004.
David has almost 20 years specialising in the risk management and insurance specifically for care providers throughout the UK. David is usually joined in the Brighton office by Jeb, his dog, who is fast becoming another integral member of staff. David is also an avid marathon runner for charity, and is usually seen running along the Brighton seafront at lunchtimes.
Katie Eyton-Lloyd PrimeCare Manager
Katie joined the company five years ago looking for an exciting career to progress into after university. Katie now manages our PrimeCare insurance team, looking after our homecare clients, but still enjoys getting involved in the care home side of the business too.
Katie enjoys skiing, swimming and running.
Sophie Mariner
Sophie has over 7 years experience in insurance. Living in Brighton and commuting did not strike Sophie as sensible, so she joined PrimeCare in 2008. Already a favourite in the office, Sophie has demonstrated her efficient, positive and knowledgeable qualities to many PrimeCare customers.
Outside of work, Sophie enjoys running, snowboarding and going to music festivals.
Laren Miller
Laren decided to return to Brighton and the South East having worked in both the public and private sectors in various places. Laren with her cool and calm approach to life has quickly become a firm favourite with clients and insurers, she continues to look forward to the challenges we will be facing together in the future too.
Liz Whitehead
Liz has been with PrimeCare since it very first started in 1997. Liz works for PrimeCare part time, spending her other working days running an arts gallery in Brighton.
Leanne Eveleigh
Having grown up in the West Country and after 5 years in the mortgage industry, Leanne decided insurance and CHIS were perfect for her future. "We took the same opinion too!" David comments.
Leanne is looking forward to developing close working relationships with clients, insurers and CHIS partners alike.
Nicky Kavanagh
Nicky looks after all of PrimeCare's accounting needs. Nicky works from an outsourced company, and is part time at PrimeCare.
Jeb
Jeb has been hanging around PrimeCare since it's inception. He's famous amongst our clients and an integral part of any visit to our office.
